It is becoming obvious to many people now that the US and NATO are deliberately pushing Russia into global thermonuclear war. In classic game theory, you might imagine two scorpions in a jar, each capable of killing the other, but not before the other one can strike back, effectively killing them both. I prefer to use the analogy of two cowboys in a saloon, each with a loaded gun pointed to the head of the other. Once the USA / NATO cowboy declares that their goal is the complete destruction of Russia and that there is no common ground and no restoration of geopolitical recognition of Russia’s right to exist, it is in the interests of Russia to shoot first (and hope it can dodge the return fire).

I could feel a cold coming on yesterday. No, it isn't covid. It is the common cold. A chill. Caught because I walked in the rain and didn't come home and change out of my wet clothes and warm up.
Fortunately, none of my family are foolish enough to ask me if I have Covid. They know it would meet with great contempt and a husky laugh ( while coughing and sneezing and blowing my nose repeatedly. )
It is a cold.

To those who have forgotten the sacrifices the ‘Greatest Generation’ made to defeat Hitler
In his 1998 classic, ‘The Greatest Generation’, famed NBC journalist Tom Brokow examined the lives and experiences of some of the millions of American men and women who fought in the Second World War.
The Liberals cannot be trusted to control Australia without adult supervision. But to replace them with an ALP/Green/ABC/Teal government would be a disaster. So voters must ensure that Liberals can form the next government, providing they have mature overseers.
I lost my father a while ago and it was one of the saddest days of my life. This father, dear friend and stalwart defender and critic of me and MY life, passed away and I have not seen him since.
But I have felt his presence. Almost every day and almost always when I need him most.
I read a comment today on Gab from a man ( Roger Stone ) who was spending Mothers Day without her and how it was difficult. I wanted to let him know that he is not alone. And he doesn’t need to miss her just because she has passed.

Our computer warned back in 2013 that Ukraine would be the place where World War III would begin. I warned that the ONLY way to prevent that was to split Ukraine based on the language. While the propaganda is that Kyiv is fighting for freedom and democracy, they have refused to allow Donbas to vote and recognize their independence.
Words are merely words, no matter how cleverly delivered or masterfully edited and pitched. Obama was supposedly a great orator until his teleprompter went bugger up. Then he became a bumbling idiot who couldn’t compose one umm without another quickly followed by another added for impact and emphasis.
All across the world, western leaders and aspiring leaders think that all they have to do is hire a speechwriter, turn up at an event and open their mouths. Well, it doesn’t work. Never has and it never will.

While most Americans were calling this past April 18 “Tax Day,” there were a few people who remembered that that day was also the 247th anniversary of Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride.
The British Royal Governor of Massachusetts received intelligence that the American Colonial Militia was stock-piling weapons in Concord, Massachusetts, and he dispatched the newly arrived British Army to confiscate these weapons in order to preemptively stop any rebellion before it started.
It was 1971 and a cold winter's day in New Zealand's central volcanic plateau. An area with abundant lakes and it was a yachtie's paradise. My parents owned a house on Lake Tarawera - a most forbidding yet beautiful lake. But was renowned for treacherously mischievous winds that could change direction, change speed and taunt even the most seasoned of sailors.
My brother and I were keen yachties and, even at 15 years of age, I fancied myself as a bit of a seasoned veteran. ( As you do when you are young and impervious to fear.) My older brother, then about 19 years old, had joined me for a quick afternoon sail before heading home to a warm fire and the comfort of our parent's lakeside home.
When Benjamin Disraeli said “I must follow the people. Am I not their leader? “ he was on the money. Leaders do not seek to create a new world of their vision, but to preserve or improve the vision that the people already have and hold dear. Or they may seek to create the vision that the people have.
Either way, it is not THEIR vision; it is the vision of the People.
Trump got this. He understood that his role was not to ask his People to follow him but rather to allow the American People to get on with their lives, make money, make babies and make memories of which they could be proud.
His role? To Follow His People.

On Earth Day, a 50-year-old environmentalist and photographer from Colorado named Wynn Alan Bruce lit himself on fire outside the US Supreme Court.
