It’s about time we Americans remembered we are supposed to govern our own lives.
While feminists and left-wing activists nationwide decry the leaked Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision draft as an attack on women’s rights, the real issue is not about women or even about abortion. What happens next with Roe v. Wade could help steer the US back toward what the founding fathers intended – a Court that keeps majoritarianism in check as it upholds the Constitution.

Since the days of Joseph in ancient Egypt, droughts have periodically rationed water and food supplies for humans and wildlife. Sensible peoples store water, but it is about 40 years since Australians built a big dam – young Aussie engineers have no damn experience.
Even beavers build dams and weirs to provide long-term wetlands and food supplies along rivers. Dams also moderate floods downstream.
Please read this before you vote. Vote One Nation, UAP, any minor party - just don't vote for more of the same. Or Australia, as we have known it, will disappear forever. And we will have been responsible for the bullet that killed her.
This is the most important election of our lifetimes. Remember this: our votes were protected by those who died to protect them. Let's not let ourselves down and let us not let them down.
" Lest We Forget " has never been more important.

A 31-year-old disabled woman in Toronto, Canada, is nearing final approval for an assisted suicide after her efforts to find housing appropriate for her disability were unsuccessful.
The woman, identified in media reports by the pseudonym Denise, suffers from multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS) where common chemicals such as cigarette smoke, air fresheners and laundry chemicals can trigger rashes, breathing difficulties and severe headaches. Since Denise has been unable to afford appropriate housing that does not aggravate her illness, she has sought to end her life by assisted suicide.

Donald Henderson, who died in 2016, was a giant in the field of epidemiology and public health. He was also a man whose prophetic warnings from 2006 we chose to ignore in March of 2020.
Dr. Henderson directed a ten-year international effort from 1967–1977 that successfully eradicated smallpox. Following this, he served as Dean of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health from 1977 to 1990. Toward the end of his career, Henderson worked on national programs for public health preparedness and response following biological attacks and national disasters.
It is becoming obvious to many people now that the US and NATO are deliberately pushing Russia into global thermonuclear war. In classic game theory, you might imagine two scorpions in a jar, each capable of killing the other, but not before the other one can strike back, effectively killing them both. I prefer to use the analogy of two cowboys in a saloon, each with a loaded gun pointed to the head of the other. Once the USA / NATO cowboy declares that their goal is the complete destruction of Russia and that there is no common ground and no restoration of geopolitical recognition of Russia’s right to exist, it is in the interests of Russia to shoot first (and hope it can dodge the return fire).

I could feel a cold coming on yesterday. No, it isn't covid. It is the common cold. A chill. Caught because I walked in the rain and didn't come home and change out of my wet clothes and warm up.
Fortunately, none of my family are foolish enough to ask me if I have Covid. They know it would meet with great contempt and a husky laugh ( while coughing and sneezing and blowing my nose repeatedly. )
It is a cold.

To those who have forgotten the sacrifices the ‘Greatest Generation’ made to defeat Hitler
In his 1998 classic, ‘The Greatest Generation’, famed NBC journalist Tom Brokow examined the lives and experiences of some of the millions of American men and women who fought in the Second World War.
The Liberals cannot be trusted to control Australia without adult supervision. But to replace them with an ALP/Green/ABC/Teal government would be a disaster. So voters must ensure that Liberals can form the next government, providing they have mature overseers.
I lost my father a while ago and it was one of the saddest days of my life. This father, dear friend and stalwart defender and critic of me and MY life, passed away and I have not seen him since.
But I have felt his presence. Almost every day and almost always when I need him most.
I read a comment today on Gab from a man ( Roger Stone ) who was spending Mothers Day without her and how it was difficult. I wanted to let him know that he is not alone. And he doesn’t need to miss her just because she has passed.
