Only yesterday, one of the great love stories of the modern era came to a close. The Streetcat named Bob passed away.
The Streetcat named Bob adopted James and took him on a journey that saved both their lives. As James said
“Bob saved my life. It’s as simple as that. He gave me so much more than companionship. With him at my side, I found a direction and purpose that I’d been missing. The success we achieved together through our books and films was miraculous. He’s met thousands of people, touched millions of lives. There’s never been a cat like him. And never will again. I feel like the light has gone out in my life. I will never forget him.”

Tearing down the monuments built on the slave’s backs – you’d better get a bigger truck.
If we were to raze everything to the ground that rose up from the yoke of slavery, we would have little left standing, save some cheap housing and a few shopfronts.
You could kiss the pyramids goodbye – the ancient Egyptians, Mayans and Aztecs were hardly equal opportunity employers.

In 1837, the young Victoria ascended to the throne and became the Queen of the most powerful Empire in the world : the British Empire. In the long ago days when Britannia ruled the waves, it also ruled much of the globe. Naïve and inexperienced, she reached out to the then prime minister, Lord Melbourne – who became her most trusted ally and advisor.
However, one thing that is certain. Queen Victoria was no “slave owner”, “murderer”, “rapist”, whore”, “slag”, or “racist” .
Under her reign, slavery ended. Workers rights were established. Education for the masses was created.

In 12 minutes. Paul Joseph Watkins has told the story of the the takeover of our Western World.
Sometimes, the old adage of a picture speaks a 1000 words somehow seems inadequate. This is one of those times. As I await my desperately needed new modem, I have to limit my on line time and I stumbled upon something that tells the story for me.
Please watch it and tremble. It is so terrifying in its honesty that I wonder if we will ever see sanity again?

When Douglas Adams wrote “ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I never really believed that we would see the Golgafrinchins trying to take over the world. But, here we are, in the middle of the worst year that we have seen in decades, watching them trying to create a new society.
It will end in tears for them and tears of laughter from us. Because they live in a world where ordering pizza, demanding $10 from their parents and planting toy gardens simply won’t cut it. As we know, money does not grow on trees. And wheels don’t build themselves. They may be better off demanding a shower but what do I know?
So here is why I believe that Chaz is being occupied by the rejects of Golgafrincha and we actually should keep them there.
I sometimes wonder are we better off not to know what is going on and have our heads buried in the sand. Everywhere you look , it is all about getting everyone under someone's thumb!!!!! Who is your friend with your best interests at heart and who is your enemy waiting to do the dirty on you and your fellow citizens.
Unfortunately I cannot think that closing your eyes to what is going on is the answer. One day we will all wake up and find that we are no better than the little toddler who is told be careful, don't go there you might fall over, eat up your dinner , go to bed and get your sleep, stay clean , wash your hands, be good and everyone will love you.
" Ground Control to Major Tom: your circuit's dead, there's something wrong "
"Here am I floating 'round my tin can, far above the moon. Planet Earth is blue, and there's nothing I can do "
As a young child, I had the good fortune to be educated by a man of great wisdom and knowledge. He taught me the value of critical thinking and the joy of the written word, history and robust debate. Today, I received an email from him and he fell from his pedestal and, like a statue and monument to things past, he tumbled to the ground and I mourn his metaphorical death.
There have only been 3 men in my close personal association for whom I have held deep respect: my father, my teacher and a man who mentored me in my work career. Each for different reasons, but, in essence, because they displayed the same personality and character traits: conviction to their beliefs, decency, family values and an enormous and steadfast knowledge that our minds are our greatest asset and that freedom is sacrosanct.
As the insanity of the Soros funded New World Order sweeps the planet like a plague of locusts devouring everything decent it is wake, we are facing an enemy that is relentless and gaining strength. Not because of its numbers, but because our media and many of our politicians are encouraging it and demanding that we do not fight back.
This current wave of desecration of our monuments and the vilification of our public figures is an international disgrace.
Abraham Lincoln, Christopher Columbus, James Cook, Queen Victoria, Sir Winston Churchill…. Men and women who did more to bring enlightenment and progress to the world than few have ever done subsequently.
To target these people who did so much is a symptom of the real virus that is in our midst: the virus of hatred, destruction and absolute control. This article focuses on Abraham Lincoln, whose memorial was so horrifically defaced in the recent riots.
Abraham Lincoln led the Union to free the slaves in the south. As part of his passionate campaign to free the slaves, he appealed to the cotton workers of Lancashire, the home of the cotton mills in northern England. Lincoln reasoned that if the exported cotton from the southern states in America was not processed, the workers of England’s north could hold the key to winning the battle against slavery.

Back in February, President Trump held a Rally in Colorado. He said “Can we get like ‘Gone with the Wind’ back, please?” when referring to the recent Academy Awards.
Now, this famous movie has been deemed offensive and has been pulled from streaming services.
I wrote an article at the time and it is well worth revisiting what I had to say back then, in light of the current insanity that has turned our world upside down with racial division, rioting and destruction of history. " Gone with the wind " is a stark portayal of human nature and how we were, are and always will be.

I wrote an article about Mother’s being the boss.
Apparently, Redhead took this to heart and decided that I needed to fix her bloody magic chair.
Some of you will have read about the magic chair that so changed Redhead’s life. Well, today, that magic chair turned into a lightbulb moment. A bad back, a magic chair, a birthday party, a bossy 88 year old and a cold and very hard tile floor…..
